Please read these terms of service ("terms", "terms of service") carefully before using www.edgenie.co.uk website (the "service") operated by Edgenie ltd ("us", 'we", "our").

We will provide their services to you, which are subject to the conditions stated below in this document. Every time you visit this website, use its services or make a purchase, you accept the following conditions. This is why we urge you to read them carefully.

The course purchased including any content is not intended to be a substitute for professional lecturers and educators. The content is created by private educators, and should not be considered to be professionally sanctioned material. Rather it should be used as an aid to study. Reliance on any information appearing on the Edgenie.co.uk site including in any of the course is strictly at your own risk and should always be checked with the information provided by exam board specifications and requirements by schools to deem its accurateness and validity.

EdGenie is not liable or responsible in any way, if you incorrectly answer a question in an assignment, exam or any form of formal testing administered by a school or exam board by using a method or procedure taught on this site which does not correspond to the method or procedure taught at school. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the methods and procedures for answering questions taught on the site correspond to that which is taught at the school you attend.

The content of the Edgenie website is intended for educational and entertainment purposes only. Such content is not intended to, and do not, constitute legal, professional, medical, psychological, therapeutic or healthcare advice or diagnosis or counselling, and may not be used for such purposes

This only applies to Full Access (Legacy), Magic Pro and Treasure Vault Unlimited enrolments.

Edgenie LTD guarantees an A or A* in a formal academic testing if these conditions are met or their money back:
• The student enrolled into the course chosen completes at least 95% of the material.
• The student enrolled into the course chosen achieves at least 90% in all questions in the course

• The student has attended at least 75% of the live masterclasses and has watched at least 90% of the live masterclass recordings from the time of enrolment to the Full access course
• Student can demonstrate they have watched each video in a timely and appropriate manner. For example, has the student completed the course in a timely manner or has skipped content to ensure the 'progress' indicator increases
• Treasure Vault Unlimited students need to achieve at least 85% marks on average on all work which has received feedback.
• Students must also be at an A or A* grade by May 1st on year of exams. This will be determined on average as part of their Mocks
• A/A* Guarantee does not apply to Edgenie Lamp Lite Students.

Edgenie ltd’s purpose is to provide enhancements in understanding of the subject. Even though our educators have great results, we want to extend this expertise onto students enrolled in the course.

The money back guarantee only applies to the subscription services paid for.

If for any reason a customer would like a refund back within 7 days of the date and time of purchase, Edgenie LTD will be obligated to do so unless the customer has completed or viewed contents of the course which accumulates to more than 5% in that time frame or if they have made any downloads. If said view rate or completion rate is less than 5% and/or they have not made any downloads then the customer will receive a full refund.

Outside of this 7 day money back guarantee EdGenie Ltd does not offer any cancellations or refunds.

Charges are set as a price and is displayed on out pricing page and/or at time of booking the course. Once you have purchased the individual course, it will appear in your dashboard and can be accessed on or after 1st October 2023. Your ownership of booking a course must be used before the last formal exam in that academic year. If, for example, you purchase a course on 20th March 2023, you will be able to access it until the day of Paper 3 in Edexcel Economics you will be sitting. After this time, your access to the course will be restricted and if you wish to gain access to the course you will be required to purchase it again.

If you are paying via ‘monthly instalments’ towards the total amount. The monthly instalments must be fulfilled to completion. For example, if you enrol and you are due to pay £85 per month for four months then four payments of £85 will be automatically transferred to Edgenie Ltd. The customer does not have the right to cease payments.

Edgenie Ltd accepts payment by Mastercard/Visa using Stripe as a secure checkout as well as Paypal. Your payment details will be encrypted to minimize the possibility of unauthorized access or disclosure. At the time of registration, you will be asked to provide credit card/debit card details. In the event that the Company is unable at any time to obtain payment of any charges using such payment details, the Company may freeze your account until it has received settlement in full.

Subscription fees for EdGenie LTD are billed on a monthly or quarterly basis, as displayed on our pricing page and/or at the time of enrolling in a course. Once subscribed, users have unrestricted access to their selected courses on EdGenie's platform for the duration of their subscription.

For example, if you subscribe on 20th March 2023, you will have access to all materials and courses for the duration of your paid subscription, whether it is a monthly or quarterly model. Once your subscription period ends (20th April for monthly or 20th June for quarterly), you will need to renew it to maintain access to the course content.

Subscriptions paid through 'monthly' or 'quarterly' instalments must be paid in full for the respective duration. As an example, if you subscribe for a monthly plan at £47 per month, £47 will be automatically transferred to EdGenie LTD each month for continuous access. Subscribers do not have the right to halt payments while their subscription is active.

EdGenie LTD accepts payments via Mastercard/Visa through our secure checkout system, Stripe, as well as through Paypal. Your payment details will be encrypted to minimize the risk of unauthorized access or disclosure. Upon registration, you'll be asked to provide credit card or debit card details. If EdGenie LTD is unable to obtain payment of any fees from the provided details, your account may be frozen until we receive full payment.

We offer a 3-day free trial period ("Free Trial Period") to new users of the Service. During the Free Trial Period, users will have full access to all features and functionalities of the Service.

To begin the Free Trial Period, no credit card information or other payment details will be required from you.

The Free Trial Period will automatically expire after 3 days from the date of activation. You will not be charged during the Free Trial Period and you will be automatically unenrolled from the Service upon expiration of the Free Trial Period.

This offer (the "Offer"), which is made to you by Edgenie LTD (as defined in the Edgenie LTD Terms of Use), entitles you access to the A Level Economics Course for a period of five (5) days from the moment that you activate such trial period by submitting your payment details (the "Free Trial Period"). By submitting your payment details, (i) you accept the Offer, (ii) consent to us using your payment details in accordance with our Privacy Policy, (iii) acknowledge and agree to EdGenie Ltd Terms of Use and these Offer Terms and Conditions. If you decide that you do not want to become a paying user of either the Edexcel, AQA or OCR course, you have to cancel your subscription to the by logging into your Edgenie account and following the cancellation instructions prior to the end of your Free Trial Period. Otherwise, at the end of your Free Trial Period, you will automatically become a paying user for the course you have chosen, and the credit card you provided will automatically be charged the current Edgenie subscription fee each month, until you cancel your subscription. If you wish to cancel your subscription after the end of your Free Trial Period, you may do so by logging into your Edgenie account and following the cancellation instructions. There are no refunds or credits for partial monthly subscriptions. If Edgenie increases the monthly fee in the future, we will provide you notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. By continuing to use the Edgenie Service after the price change takes effect, you accept the new price.

• You may only use this Offer once. If you have subscribed to Edgenie before or have taken a trial offer previously, you are ineligible for this Offer.

EdGenie LTD retains all copyrights to its materials.

These courses and resources are strictly for the individual students preparing for their examinations. If you represent an educational institution, tutor, organization, or charity, please inform EdGenie LTD during enrollment to avoid any violation of copyright laws.

You are granted a license to access and utilize the materials solely for personal, non-commercial, temporary viewing purposes. This license does not imply a title transfer; under this agreement, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

Modifying or duplicating the materials;
Employing the materials for any commercial use or any public exhibition (regardless of commercial or non-commercial nature);
Attempting to decompile or reverse engineer any content hosted on EdGenie LTD's website;
Removing any copyright or proprietary markings from the materials;
Transferring the materials to another party or 'mirroring' the materials on any other server.
Should you violate any of these terms, this license can automatically terminate, and EdGenie LTD reserves the right to end this license at any point. Upon termination of your viewing access or this license, you are obligated to erase any downloaded materials in your possession, regardless of the format.

Sharing of login credentials and accounts with other students is strictly forbidden. The site employs IP address tracking and notifies us of any unusual sign-in activities.

By using EdGenie LTD's services, you acknowledge and agree that any content or communication you participate in, including but not limited to, messages sent through Live SuperChat, progress rates, and live masterclass interactions may be used by EdGenie LTD as promotional material.

EdGenie LTD reserves the right to capture, reproduce, publicly display, distribute, and otherwise use these communications in any media for the purpose of promoting EdGenie LTD's services. This can include, but is not limited to, testimonials, advertisements, marketing materials, and customer success stories.

The purpose of such use is to highlight the benefits of our services, showcase the progress of our users, or highlight engaging interactive learning experiences within our platform. EdGenie LTD will strive to respect your privacy and will not disclose any personal identifying information in these promotional materials without your express consent.

Your continued use of our services constitutes your agreement to these terms. Please be aware of this when engaging in communications or sharing content through our services. If you do not wish for your communications or content to be used in this manner, please inform us directly and we will respect your wishes.

With a one-time payment, you will secure your access to our Service until the date of your final exam. This payment option allows you to pay for the entire course upfront, eliminating the need for tracking multiple instalment payments.

Upon making a one-time payment, you will be granted full access to the course and all related materials immediately. Your access will remain active and uninterrupted up until the date of your final exam. This provides the convenience of unrestricted learning without the worry of upcoming payments.

Please note that the one-time payment is non-refundable and does not change based on your usage or completion status of the course. Ensure to make your payment securely and promptly to commence your learning journey as soon as possible. With a one-time payment, you can focus entirely on your studies and preparation for the final exam, without the distraction of due payments.

As part of our Service, we offer the option to pay in instalments. Upon enrolment, the first instalment becomes due immediately. Subsequent payments will be due on predetermined dates that will be communicated to you in advance. It is crucial to adhere to these due dates, as any delay in payment will directly affect your continued access to our Service.

In the event of a missed payment, your access to the course and related materials will be immediately revoked. Your access will only be restored upon receipt of the outstanding payment. We strongly recommend ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner to avoid disruption in your access to our Service.

Please ensure that you have adequate funds available to meet each instalment payment on its due date. Any charges related to late or returned payments will be your responsibility. Note that your obligation to make each instalment payment will persist irrespective of your use of the Service. Prompt and regular payment of instalments is critical for uninterrupted use of our Service.

CANCELLATIONS

Subscribers can cancel their EdGenie LTD subscription at any time. If you have prepaid for a specific duration (monthly, quarterly, or annually), you will continue to have access to the course materials until the end of your paid term, even after cancellation. This is because you've paid for that specific period, regardless of when the cancellation is made during that term. A refund will not be issued in this scenario.

Please note, there are no refunds available upon cancellation, with the only exception being our 7-day Money Back Guarantee.

REFUNDS

Refunds are not available after a subscription has been paid for and enrolment has been processed and begun, aside from the conditions stated under our 7-day Money Back Guarantee. This applies even if the course is not 'completed', or if the student does not receive an A or A* grade. Please note, the grade-based exception is only applicable to the Magic Pro and Treasure Vault Unlimited packages.

In summary, once a course is paid for and enrollment is completed, no refunds can be made except under the terms of our 7-day Money Back Guarantee. This no-refund policy applies regardless of course completion or the final grade obtained.

The Tutor leading the course has the right to terminate a student’s enrolment during a class if inappropriate or intolerant behaviour is evident.Furthermore, EdGenie ltd has the right to terminate or suspend with immediate effect without notice your access to and use of this website and your participation if we:

Do not receive payment; or

Believe you have shared your account with another student, person or entity; or
Reasonably believe that you have breached any of these Terms of Service; or
Are unable to verify the accuracy or validity of any information provided by you;
Suspects fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity by you.

These terms of service and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim will be decided only by the courts of England.If any clause or any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable in law, the other terms and conditions will remain in force.
